Jack the ripper's influence in nowadays society

When the horrifying creation of Jack the Ripper began turning up situated on sides Whitechapel, it marked the coming into sight of a new brand of murderer. Many Ripperologists have written successful books.The image of the Ripper merged with or borrowed symbols from horror stories, such as Dracula's cloak or Victor Frankenstein's organ harvest.
According to Michael Carlson, this films are the top five about Jack the Ripper :
* Pandora's Box (GW Pabst, 1929): Louise Brooks's descent from respectability to victimhood remains the most affecting use of the Ripper myth. Weimar Germany was to serial killers what Renaissance Florence was to poisoning; by casting Brooks, whose energy as the quintessential liberated American flapper transcends the silent screen, against a background of shadowy expressionist photography, Pabst set the stage for film noir.
* Murder by Decree (Bob Clark, 1979) : Christopher Plummer and James Mason are one of cinema's top Holmes/Watson pairings, but Genevieve Bujold steals the show. This was the first Ripper movie to investigate

charges of royal and masonic involvement in the murders, although, perhaps sadly, it resists naming names. Holmes and Watson also pursue the Ripper in A Study in Terror (James Hill, 1965), based on Ellery Queen's novel.
* The Lodger (Alfred Hitchock, 1926) : Based on a favourite apocryphal tale of the artist Walter Sickert (who, the US thriller writer Patricia Cornwell has suggested, may himself have been the Ripper), Marie Belloc Lowndes's 1911 novel has inspired four films. The silent one, starring Ivor Novello and his Gladstone bag, is best. Novello reprised the role in a 1932 talkie, but John Brahm's 1944 noirish version, with George Sanders, Merle Oberon, and Laird Creeger is the superior sound version.
* Hands of the Ripper (Peter Sasdy, 1971): Angharad Rees plays the Ripper's daughter, also driven to kill. It was one of two top Ripper films from Hammer that year, the other being Dr Jekyll and Sister Hyde (Roy Ward Baker, 1971), in which Jekyll becomes a female Hyde who needs to replenish her hormones from real whores. The link between Stevenson's novel and Jack has never been clearer.
* From Hell (Hughes Brothers, 2002): Between 1991 and 1996, Alan Moore published a 10-part comic books that retold the murders as part of a conspiracy at the highest levels. The Hughes brothers, whose reputation was made with such US "ghetto" movies as Dead Presidents, turn London's East End into an even more dangerous sort of ghetto - even though Johnny Depp and Heather Graham sometimes look redolent more of Beverly Hills than of Whitechapel. There is a deeper secret buried in this movie, however: as Depp's opium-smoking Inspector Abberline investigates the murders, we realise - in references to Platoon, JFK, The Doors and Natural Born Killers - that what we're watching is, of all things, a not-so subtle homage to that master of conspiracy theory, Oliver Stone.
This still doesn't fully explain why the Ripper's legacy endures. Certainly, the fact that a century later his identity has yet to be uncovered points to be continued interested. But a darker perspective was suggested by Alex Murray in 2004. Jack the Ripper stands as our best reminder of the potential violence latent in each one of us, no matter how civilized we become. As Murray writes, “The only thing to revealed in the investigation of Jack the Ripper is ourselves”.

In the previous hours of Friday, 31st August 1888, a carter going to work found the body of a female human lying by a stable door in Whitechapel. Her neck had been cut and her body dismembered with a cutting tool. Her name was Mary Ann Nichols, and she was only the first fatality of the murderer who would come to be known as Jack the Ripper, London and the most reputable serial killer.
Much of what we consider we know about the Ripper assassination is the conclusion of a hoax. We can't be absolutely assured that all five Ripper assassinations were the labour of the same individual. Even though modern academics put the number of Ripper fatalities at five, current newspaper accounts determined in some ways six and at times more, accounting for other assassinations to the same criminal.
More than 300 people were examined; the killer was not at all disclosed. The enigma of the Ripper's identity, joined with the barbarism of the fatalities and the media delirium that enclosed them, has created the ample territory of “Ripperology”, current works that seek to bring to light the identity of Jack the Ripper.
A number of hypothesis were advocated. The self-destruction of barrister Montague John Druitt following the last fatality in December 1888 seems suggestive, but Druitt lived nowhere close to the area and had a strong justification for the Nichols assassination. John Pizzer, a territorial with certified days of yore of turbulence against prostitutes, an American con artist, Francis Tumblety, was arrested for an unrelated crime at around the same time. American poisoner Thomas Cream is said to have confessed to the crime on the scaffold, despite having been in prison in Illinois at the time of murders. Other suspects seem to have the same story. Modern authors have suggested an even more outlandish set of suspects for these gruesome crimes. Sir Williams Withey Gull, Queen Victoria's physician-in-ordinary. Other unlikely culprits include a Russian secret agent named Alexander Pedachenko (who probably never existed at all), the Duke of Clarence, painter Walter Sickert and even Lewis Carroll.
The Ripper's identication will apparently eternally continue mysterious. Killings and less important crimes had always been part of the Victorian
newspapers, but the Ripper murders changed completely London's newspapers.
The Ripper killings take note of a considerable watershed in the analysis of misdeed by reporters. His case was the beginning to create global media agitation. Tax reforms in the 1850s had allowed mass-circulation newspapers as inexpensive as a halfpenny.
Attending at the newspapers of the age, comes a first-hand perception not only into this awful murders and the coming terror, but into the birth of aims in concurrent journalism that can still be seen today.

Every year a thousand pieces of space debris are found around the world.The last discovery was in Murcia (Spain) when a mysterious black ball has appeared in the middle of a field.Many people have said it came from a rocket or satellite because it is made of  a material so strong that it can survive almost intact reentry into the earth and even catastrophic explosions.
Firstly , it is true that it could be some pieces of space debris but it could not be.Many people argue about its origin,because it is often said everything that we see strange it come from the space.However,in mi point of view it is not a piece of space debris.Human beings has been very obsessed with aliens during centuries but there is not evidence.
Instead of that weird incident,I have to say we are filling the space with rubbish and it is dangerous.Most of this rubbish fall from heaven like rock's rain,producing damages.
Finally,it is important to take into  account that we must to save the planet and of course the space too.

Most of the unemployers are young people.This problem is produced by the suspicious character of entrepreneurs.They don't give the possibility to young people to get experience but at the same time,they want experienced employers.If they offer work,most is precarious.Same for old ones.

The solution could be simple : to hire non-experienced people to do small tasks so they will be experienced for the future.

In today's world, many teenagers have access to internet and therefore they have a chance to watch free videos and films online.As it is a passive activity it is very likely that they spend much more time watching videos than reading.

While watching an online film or videos is not a bad activity per se, doing it all the time is. This is precisely what teachers and parents fear, teenagers becoming just passive consumers of any junk videos or worthless information that is presented online.  They point out that good habits such as reading, and acquiring useful information for their future jobs are being lost.

However, if parents at home supervise their screen hours it is perfectly possible to keep a balance between watching online films and videos and reading. Furthermore, there are many books that teenagers love such as those related to witchcraft and vampires.  So the problem is not necessarily reading, but what to read.

In my opinion, therefore, teenagers can watch video or films online and continue to have the habit of reading if they have the discipline to organise their time well, and their parents  make sure that they do not exceed a limited number of hours in front of the computer.

Learning to let him go

Love never ends

Breaking traditions,myths and all around love...We grown up watching our parents in formal relations,serious,with stories that they are known since they are fifteen years old. Thirty of fourty years is not enough for their love and our grandparents -because they don't have mobile phones-  expected in the train station,the bus stop and they rely on each other. How are our love stories?First of all,we want to become strong.We want to make men think that we don't care about them, and they want to cheat us telling that they never fall in love. Our generation is full of beer and sex.We can't hardly escape of loving and of being loved,because that person always comes to our life.Because when we fall in love, a loop is created, and this loop can't be destroy by anything. Neither distance nor time. And meeting someone new -even if it is amusing- it will be clear who is the person we love.There are loves that always stay, although we say goodbye.

Inside

She do not know what  those feelings are. It had been three years since her last "I love you", but something weird was happening. She still loved him. She still cries for him,but he never returned.She still thinks is to blame for this horrible end.She did not understand how she could let it go, the boy that she loved. Sometimes people do things that they can not imagine and she did it.

Maybe he will returned or maybe he will not but that hope which has kept alive. She is happy because he is. The truth is that I rarely believed in magic but think how nice it is there makes me want to become a witch.Because there are still fools who sing under the windows romantic songs.I discovered that magic exists when I met him.

Opinion paragraph

I do not agree with the new education's reform in Spain for university saying that there must have three years in a degree and two in a master because a master is more expensive than a degree and right now a master has just one year. I think the government does not think in people that can not pay the university by their self. The education must be cheaper like in Norway and other European countries.

Introducing someone

My friend Monica Soto is the most outgoing person that I have ever met. She is not very big. She is strong. She always does all that she wants. In fact, It does not matter what the people say about her. It is weird to see her being sad. When you need something she will help you. I am enchanted to spend time with her and I hope this friendship does not have an end.

Hi Ana! I am going to tell you my opinion about your friend's description. I think that the structure is good because you have used the topic sentence,supporting sentences and concluding sentence. You have done a very good description about her, but I believe that you have to write more about her personality because you have not used many adjectives. I also think that you should say more about her physically appearance. For instance,you can talk about her hair,her eyes...
Despite of this, I think that It is a good description, so well done!

Next stop : DREAMING

I am going to talk you about what I love doing the most : TRAVEL. Since I was  little I liked travelling. For me travelling is like a escape from the routine. The first "voyage" that I remember was to the Canary Islands. I was excited so the previous night I did not sleep, nothing at all. It was my birthday and we had to take a plane early. That morning I was just saying  "mummy, daddy we are going to fly!". They tried to calm me down but they could not because I was too nervous. After this travel, the rest were better. I have visited many different countries : France,United Kingdom,Norway,Italy,Denmark,Malta,Belgium,Holland...but there is one that I hope to visit soon : United States. I do not know exactly why I love this country,however,actually I do. I guess I have seen too many American movies. In fact,the city that keeps my attention is New York. More than five years asking my mum if we can go, obviously without her answer. It does not care because my planning will go on. Maybe some people will think "why did you write about your boring life to us?" and my answer would be "that was just an example". The message that I want  to transmit  is FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS. Yeah ,It is true maybe your dreams are a little bit crazy but It does not matter. You have to do what you want. Without fears,you must let them go away and keep on your way. Do not let anyone say you can not do it.
